Sispony is an attractive residential town formed by traditional houses and away from the main tourist centres of Andorra. It is located at 1,326 meters of altitude, with an estimated population of 872 inhabitants at the end of 2017, according to the statistics department of Andorra.
Just 1.5 km away from the centre of La Massana, we can arrive there by the Sispony road. After leaving the capital behind by the CG-3, we cross the tunnels and the detour to Anyós, and on the left we find the Sispony road, which will take us directly to this town. The road crosses the town and goes out at the other end to enter in La Massana through the upper zone.
Its strategic location, right in the southern corner of the mountain, provides more hours of daylight and favours a more temperate and sunny climate throughout the year; it also stands out for its high degree of tranquility and exceptional panoramic views over La Massana, Ordino and Casamanya, which give to the village a very appreciated and special charm.

- The Cortals de Sispony Hut-Refuge, located at the end of the Sispony road, halfway between the Carroi and La Cubil Peaks, it has a capacity of 52 people. It is a traditional Andorran hut refurbished into a guarded refuge and set in a beautiful natural environment with barbecue and a large esplanade where all kinds of activities can be done. An ideal getaway place for hikers and mountain lovers.
