The village of L'Aldosa is one of those surrounding mountain villages of La Massana that allows you to live outside the main roads of the country. It is located at 1300 meters of altitude and had an estimated population of 956 inhabitants in 2017, according to the Department of Statistics of Andorra.
Once having arrived to the Vallnord Valley through CG-3, La Massana is in the deepest, while uphill there are the villages of Sispony and Escás on the west side, and Anyós and La Aldosa on the east side, rising above the mountain and offering all of them the best views of the area over the La Massana valley, the Arinsal valley and the highest and emblematic peaks of the country, such as the Comapedrosa.
The village is accessed from the south by the road of Anyós or from the north by the road of La Aldosa. Both roads are an alternative route that allows traveling from the capital to Ordino without going through the centre of La Massana, thus avoiding the densest traffic of the main routes of the parish. There is also a pedestrian access, along the Gravades path, very convenient for residents, which places you in a few minutes in the center of La Massana.
